Women in Transport Summer School: A growing community, a concluded edition

The 4th edition of the Women in Transport Summer School officially wrapped up on July 11 — and once again, it left a powerful mark.

For two weeks, 20 young women from around the world immersed themselves in the heart of the Italian Motor Valley, exploring the intersection of technology, innovation, and inclusion. From factory tours to racing simulators, from technical workshops to candid conversations on gender and career paths, the program created something rare and invaluable: a space where no one had to feel like the “only one” in the room.

Now, the Women in Transport community counts nearly 80 passionate and talented women, spread across the globe and united by a shared goal: building a more inclusive future for the transport and automotive sectors.

The future we want is still under construction — but it’s already taking shape in the vision, skills, and determination of the next generation.
