Women in Transport Summer School 2025: applications open until April 28

From June 30 to July 11, 2025, the Department of Engineering Enzo Ferrari (Unimore) in Modena will welcome a new group of engineers for the Women in Transport Summer School – a unique international program aimed at promoting gender diversity in the automotive and mobility sectors.

Organized by MUNER – Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna with the support of Fondazione Marco Biagi,, the Summer School is addressed to talented female students and recent graduates in engineering who are eager to explore innovative and inclusive career paths.

Over the course of two weeks, participants will take part in:

• Lectures, workshops and seminars held by top professors and industry experts;
• Exclusive company visits to leading automotive manufacturers such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Dallara and more – tailor-made for the Summer School participants;
• Hands-on sessions with the Formula SAE student team at UNIMORE;
• Cultural and networking activities, designed to foster exchange among participants and immersion in Italian culture;
• A final Round Table on Diversity and Inclusion, featuring representatives from major companies discussing the impact of gender perspectives in shaping the future of mobility.

All activities are held in English and tailored to a small, international group of selected students.
