Talent Talk at Motor Valley Fest: Spotlight on MUNER’s Summer Schools
On June 7, 2025, the Teatro del Collegio San Carlo in Modena hosted the Talent Talk MUNER, part of the official program of the Motor Valley Fest.
The event offered an in-depth look at the role of Summer Schools within MUNER’s educational ecosystem, highlighting their value as both orientation tools and advanced training opportunities.
Moderated by Soundous Drissi, Program Manager at MUNER, the panel featured the directors of three key short programs, co-funded by the MUSE – Motorvehicle University Skills Empowerment project:
- Prof. Davide Barater (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Director of the Summer School Electrical Machines and Drives for Green Transportation Systems
- Prof. Vittorio Ravaglioli (University of Bologna), Director of the Summer School Future of Automotive for Intelligent Mobility
- Prof. Dario Croccolo (University of Bologna), Director of the Summer School Industrial Engineering for Advanced Automotive
Together, they discussed how these short, intensive, industry-driven programs are designed to support students and young researchers in navigating the transformation of the mobility sector. From electrification to intelligent vehicles and advanced automotive engineering, the programs combine technical depth with direct engagement from companies such as Ferrari, Ducati, Lamborghini, and Dallara.
The session also welcomed several MUNER alumni who had participated in previous editions of the Schools. They shared how these experiences helped them advance in academia, enter the workforce, and build international networks.
