MUNER Welcome Day 2025: A New Academic Year Begins

On October 23, 2025, MUNER – Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna – welcomed its first-year students at the Museo Enzo Ferrari for the MUNER Welcome Day 2025.

The event marked the start of an exciting new academic year and offered students the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and corporate partners, as well as hear inspiring stories from alumni/ae.
It was a moment to discover what it truly means to be part of the MUNER community and to celebrate the beginning of a journey in the heart of the Motor Valley.

The Welcome Day agenda included:

• Institutional speeches from MUNER representatives, including Leonardo Guglielmetti (General Manager) and Francesco Leali (Board Delegate).
• Corporate insights from our partners Dallara and Racing Bulls, with presentations by Andrea Vecchi (Marketing & Communication Director @Dallara) and Ilaria Samorini (People Learning & Development Partner @ Visa Cash App RB F1 Team).
• Alumni talks featuring Francesca Furia (Advanced Automotive Engineering, now in Ferrari) and Jacopo Ferretti (Electric Vehicle Engineering, now PhD UniBo/HPE Group).
• Program Directors’ greetings and a Q&A session.
• Networking aperitif to close the event and give students a chance to connect with the community.

Students also received exclusive MUNER gadgets as a welcome gift.
