MUNER joins the “Imola Living Lab – WOW Women Motor Project” Protocol
MUNER – Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna – proudly joins the “Imola Living Lab – WOW Women Motor Project” Protocol, officially established by the Municipality of Imola in collaboration with Formula Imola, ConAmi and Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola.
The Protocol brings together major public and private partners of the Motor Valley and the national industrial ecosystem, including Pirelli, BOOM Knowledge Hub by CRIF, Eco Certificazioni, Motor Valley Development, ASI, ANCI Città dei Motori and others. It aims to promote gender equality, female empowerment, and the dissemination of STEM disciplines among younger generations.
During the first operational meeting, members defined a three-year strategy (2026–2028) that will turn WOW into a long-term project of reference for Imola, its “Enzo and Dino Ferrari” Racetrack, and all participating partners.
Among the first activities planned are:
- motivational and experiential programs for schools and universities,
- training and guidance initiatives supported by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola,
- laboratories, podcasts and multimedia content created with students,
- and the WOW 2026 event, scheduled for March 8–9 at the Imola racetrack.
According to Andrea Pontremoli, President of MUNER and Motor Valley, “This is a concrete initiative to promote female talent in STEM and to strengthen the Motor Valley’s role in inclusive innovation. It is yet another example of this territory’s ability to work together to drive not only technological but also cultural and social innovation.”
Through this participation, MUNER reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that combine technological, cultural, and social innovation in the name of inclusion and equal opportunities.
