MUNER joins the first meeting of EQUAINNOVA, the new Intercluster Working Group on gender equality, diversity and inclusion
MUNER – Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna participated in the first meeting of EQUAINNOVA, the newly established Intercluster Working Group promoted by ART-ER S. cons. p. a. within the Clust-ER network of Regione Emilia-Romagna.
The initiative aims to foster coordinated and concrete actions on gender equality, diversity and inclusion across the Region’s strategic innovation ecosystems.
For several years, MUNER has been actively engaged in these topics through its Gender & Diversity Empowerment Committee, working to develop a more inclusive, attractive and talent-driven higher education environment within the automotive sector.
Joining EQUAINNOVA represents a natural continuation of this commitment. MUNER strongly believes in the value of collaboration, the exchange of good practices, and the creation of a shared vision among the key industrial and innovation clusters of the Region.
Addressing gender and diversity challenges is not only an ethical responsibility; it is also a strategic factor. The absence of action has measurable costs — affecting competitiveness, innovation capacity and the ability to attract and retain the skills essential for current and future industrial transformations.
MUNER will contribute to the definition of the actions that EQUAINNOVA will implement in 2026, while learning from the experiences of partner clusters. This collaborative effort reinforces the conviction that meaningful and lasting change can only be achieved through a shared and systemic approach.
Clusters involved:
Clust-ER Meccatronica e Motoristica, Clust-ER Economia Urbana, Clust-ER Innovate, Clust-ER Turismo, Associazione Big Data, Clust-ER Health – Emilia-Romagna, Clust-ER Create Industrie Culturali e Creative, Clust-ER Build Edilizia e Costruzioni.
