MUNER DRIVES CHANGE: third session explores corporate approaches to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

On May 9th, 2024, the third session of MUNER DRIVES CHANGE—the Gender and Diversity Empowerment Committee training program dedicated to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I)—was held at the Tecnopolo di Modena. The event focused on how companies in the mobility sector are putting DE&I principles into practice.

The session opened with a keynote speech by Donatella De Vita, Global Head of Welfare, Engagement and DE&I Programmes at Pirelli, who emphasized the strategic importance of inclusive policies and the development of professional skills that foster inclusive career paths.

  • Silvia Brambilla, Engagement and DE&I – Pirelli
    Moderated by Prof. Elena Bassoli, MUNER professor and coordinator of the Gender and Diversity Empowerment Committee, the discussion explored company initiatives, challenges, and opportunities related to fostering inclusive work environments.

Students from MUNER’s master’s programs actively participated, contributing thoughtful questions and reflections, confirming the value of creating spaces for dialogue and awareness on these crucial topics.
