MUNER DRIVES CHANGE: Faculty training completed, students next!

The MUNER DRIVES CHANGE training program, developed by MUNER’s Gender and Diversity Empowerment Committee, aims to promote gender equality and inclusivity in the automotive sector, with a special focus on our community.

The initiative kicked off with the Faculty Path, a series of three engaging sessions designed to equip MUNER teaching staff with key insights on bias, stereotypes and inclusive communication.

???? Lorenzo Gasparrini (independent philosopher and educator) introduced reflections on gender stereotypes, masculinity, and power dynamics.
???? Chiara Xausa (Research Fellow at the Department of Interpretation and Translation – University of Bologna) explored the role of inclusive and evolving language.
???? Silvia Luppi (Partnership Manager – Strategic Network Developer, AVL) highlighted the impact of bias and neutral feedback in professional settings.

Professors and professionals participated both in-person and remotely, demonstrating a strong commitment to creating a more inclusive learning environment. These sessions will remain available offline, ensuring continuous faculty development.

Looking ahead, the Student Path will launch in March 2025, offering MUNER students the opportunity to engage in discussions on gender diversity, equity, and professional inclusion.

???? Stay tuned for updates as we continue driving change!
