Applications open for the Summer School Women in Transport 2026

Applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the MUNER Summer School Women in Transport, an international program dedicated to female engineering students interested in mobility, transport and automotive engineering.

The Summer School will take place in Modena, at the Department of Engineering Enzo Ferrari, from 29 June to 10 July 2026, and will welcome 20 selected participants from all over the world.

The two-week program combines:

• classroom lectures
• hands-on activities
• company visits
• seminars and round tables
• networking opportunities with academic and industrial partners

The initiative is part of MUNER’s broader commitment to increasing female participation in STEM disciplines and engineering education, where gender imbalance remains a critical challenge.
