Applications Open for the MUNER Summer School in Off-Highway Vehicle Design 2026
Applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the MUNER Summer School in Off-Highway Vehicle Design.
This program offers a unique opportunity to explore high-performance engineering applied to vehicles operating in challenging environments such as agriculture and construction.
The Summer School will take place at the University of Bologna (Dept. of Agricultural & Food Sciences) and CNH Italia (Modena) with:
- Intensive week: 25–29 May 2026
- Follow-up days: 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 June 2026
Participants will engage in lectures, hands-on labs, and project work (~60 hours of instruction plus practical activities), working in small teams to design, build, and test off-highway vehicle prototypes. Topics include vehicle design, powertrain systems, terramechanics, automation, and electrification. All activities will be conducted in English.
The Summer School is ideal for Bachelor students in Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering and other STEM disciplines who want to experience how high-performance technologies are applied in demanding real-world conditions.
Applications are open until 2 May 2026.
