International Summer School in Industrial Engineering for Advanced Automotive – 2026 Edition

There are still places available for the International Summer School in Industrial Engineering for Advanced Automotive, an intensive two-week programme held in Bologna, Italy.

The Summer School is aimed at master’s students and graduates in engineering disciplines, particularly those interested in advanced automotive engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing systems.

The programme awards 6 ECTS credits and is delivered in English. It combines academic teaching with applied learning activities, including lectures, workshops, and company-based experiences within the Motor Valley ecosystem.

Key topics include:

  • efficiency and optimisation of production systems
  • digitisation and process control in manufacturing
  • data-driven and smart production systems
  • sustainable, quality-oriented, and energy-aware processes
  • development and control of innovative propulsion systems and vehicles

Participants will also take part in company visits and hands-on activities, providing direct insight into leading industrial practices in the automotive sector.
